Overview

The Route Optimization API turns a fleet's toughest planning problems into efficient delivery plans. Give it a set of vehicles and stops and it solves the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) — assigning stops to vehicles and ordering them to minimise total drive time and cost. It handles capacity, time windows and multiple depots, so dispatchers stop planning routes by hand and couriers drive fewer kilometres.

POST/api/1/vrp

Parameter	Type	Status	Description
vehicles	array	Optional	The list of vehicles — each with an id, optional capacity, and a start location as a [lon, lat] array (longitude first).
services	array	Optional	The stops to serve — each with an id, a location as a [lon, lat] array (longitude first), and optional service time. Same coordinate order as all our other endpoints.
shipments	array	Optional	Paired pickup and delivery tasks, with amount and skills. Provide services, shipments or both; at most 250 task endpoints.
profile	string	Optional	One shared travel profile: driving, cycling or walking, including their documented aliases.
